This Oak Dining Room Table was designed and built especially for Shirley Jones and Marty Ingels.  It's made exclusively of Oak Burl.   Each of the 32 pieces in the mosaic are framed with Oak Lace Burl.   This photo appeared in the Better Homes & Gardens issue of Kitchens & Bath in the spring of 1986.

The top sits on a hand-turned Oak Burl trestle base with hand-carved bear claw feet.  The table measures four feet wide by eight feet long.  Twelve matching chairs were built after this photo was taken.  The table resides in a Big Bear cabin retreat owned by Shirley and Marty.
